The Raddest Concert Ever.

What can I say about this concert except that it was the RADDEST concert ever?

Seriously.

So many people were blessed because of it. The music moved me. You know a song is good when you slowly put down your camera and have it rest in your lap because you are so captivated. (ahem, Rachael from Conundrum Chorus. Girl. Holy crap.)

Everyone had fabulous voices and just touched hearts, all for Love Inc. – an amazing local charity that you must.check.out.

All of these images were SOOC at an ISO of about 6400 with my 50 mm f1.8, all auto white balance and neutral color scheme. And, as you can see, I freelensed. A lot. (This guy’s free lensing inspires me). And I finally got the freelensing how I want it! I have never been able to just get the bottom half of a person blurry until that night! YAY for little achievements!!

There are a couple things you should do right now:
a.) Check out these bands: Sheep Among Wolves, Salt the Seas, Conundrum Chorus
b.) Next time they have a show you NEED to go. They are incredible. Not even biased.
c.) If you are a photographer, play with freelensing. It is a blasttt. (why not ??)

Overall, such a fun fun night and so much talent at this Christian event. Praise God. :]

If anyone wants one of these pictures, please do not steal from the website. shoot me a comment or an e-mail and I’ll send you one.

Lori - Meredith, your blog is the RADDEST! Not only am I captivated by your photography but also your heart and spirit that is so evident and visible in your postings. It is so attractive and admirable to see how Jesus has captivated YOUR heart and being! I thank Him for how you allow Him to shine through you in your photography and writing and the causes you support.
What touched me most in this posting is the photo of you worshipping! Thank you for posting it. Keep shining for Jesus, Girl; don’t let anything distract you or dampen your candle.

Don’t let your candle burn out
Without its light
The world is lost
In a gloomy pit of hopeless night

Go out and spread the light like wildfire
Let it glow like a shining star
So those blinded by darkness will see and come to accept it
Then they too can go out and spread it afar

After all what good is a light that is hidden?
Without it no one can see
Don’t let yours go unused
But spread it so that others can be set free

From the pit of gloomy hopeless night
That has cast this world into a shadow of doubt
So go out and share the light
And never let your candle burn out
